The Lincoln cent was introduced in 1909 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln. It was the first U.S. coin to portray an actual person, and the first cent to bear the motto "In God We Trust".
My 1975-2013 Album
The Album that I am collecting is the "1975-2013 Lincoln Cent Album" by Whitman Publishing. I started putting this collection together since December 2017. It may take a bit long to complete as I am not currently living in the U.S. but in Europe (mostly Ireland and Spain). My goal is to complete the album with pennies friends bring from the U.S. to me; from eventual trips I did or will do my-self; and also by pennies that very kind people give to me away.
